How much does this cost?
OHIP covers our service for Ontario patients with a valid health card. For patients outside of Ontario, please refer to our For Patients page
What types of radiology studies can I get a second opinion on?
Our team of top-notch radiologists has expertise in all types of studies!
Do I need a doctor’s referral for a second opinion on my imaging studies?
For Ontario patients, yes, a doctor’s referral is needed because OHIP requires it. When you request a second opinion from us, we send a referral form on your behalf to your doctor. If your doctor agrees to your second opinion request, he/she signs the form and sends it to us. However, your doctor may want to discuss your request with you before signing the referral form. Once we receive your doctor’s referral, we proceed with importing your images.
Do I have to upload my images?
Not necessarily. We try to acquire images from where you had your scans done. This process can take one to two weeks. If you already have Pocket Health access or a CD of your images, send us the link or CD to help shorten this process.
How do I upload my images if I have a CD?

How long does it take to get a second opinion report?
It can take one to two weeks to get all of your images imported and then up to one week for one of our expert radiologists to provide a report. We try our best to provide you with a report as soon as possible!
Who will my second opinion report be sent to?
Your second opinion report will be sent to your doctor to discuss with you.
